National Dairy Development Board, Bangalore intends for sale of the following vehicles having clear documents and in good condition and running on ‘AS IS WHERE IS BASIS

1. Maruti 800 Model 1996 (KA-01-N-8069) petrol driven :
2. Maruti OMNI Model 1995 (KA-01-N-4686) petrol driven

The vehicles can be inspected during office hours (9.30 AM to 6.00 PM) from Monday to Friday at the NDDB Campus, Bangalore, up to 10^th August, 2007, at the Purchase/HR Group.

Your highest offer is invited, subject to the following terms and condition:

1. All the bidders should furnish EMD (bid security) in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of “National Dairy Development Board”, payable at Bangalore. The value of EMD shall be Rs.500/- per vehicle (Rupees Five Hundred only). No interest shall be paid by NDDB on the EMD amount.
   
   
2. The sealed offer in closed envelope should reach us latest by 10th August, 2007 before 18.00 Hours. The sealed envelop should bear the reference number of this letter and the due date.
   
   
3. The bid along with the required security should be submitted to Senior Manager (Purchase), NDDB, Bangalore in a sealed envelope.
   
   
4. The offer received after the scheduled time and date shall be rejected.
   
   
5. The rate offered by you should be valid for acceptance till 45 days from the last date of receipt of offer.
   
   
6. The rate offered should be inclusive of sales/any tax/levies as applicable. PAN may be indicated. If PAN No. is not available copy of application made in this regard may be submitted.
   
   
7. The price offered should be net receivable by NDDB and any other liability/expenses (other than the taxes) shall have to be borne by the successful bidder.
   
   
8. Successful bidder upon notification of acceptance of the offer shall remit the bid amount including sales tax to NDDB, Bangalore by way of a demand draft/Bank’s pay order payable at Bangalore, within 7 days of the award of letter.
   
   
9. The successful bidder will have to lift the Vehicle within one week after depositing the full amount (100% cost plus taxes if applicable) from the date of intimation. Failure to make payment as above shall result in annulment of award. The vehicle/s is not lifted by the successful bidder, the same shall be stored solely at the risk and cost of the successful bidder and NDDB shall not be liable for the safe custody beyond 30 days of due date delivery.
   
   
10. The vehicle/s shall be handed over by NDDB to an authorized representative, who shall produce original money receipt of the successful bidder, at the premises where the vehicle/s is kept
    
    
11. If the vehicle is not lifted within 30 days after payment, the contract shall automatically be treated as cancelled and the EMD/Security Deposit will be forfeited.
    
    
12. NDDB shall decide for sale of vehicle/s separately or together depending upon price and terms quoted.
    
    
13. The NDDB shall not be responsible for any damage to the Vehicle during the actual delivery of the same to the successful bidder. All liabilities of NDDB shall cease as soon as the vehicle/s is handed over to the successful bidder.
    
    
14. NDDB reserves the right to amend/waive any of the conditions merely depending on the merits of the circumstances without assigning any reasons
    
    
15. NDDB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids either wholly or partly without assigning any reason thereof.
    
    
16. Bids received without required bid security (for each vehicle) shall be rejected.
    
    
17. We now look forward to receive the highest offer, in a sealed envelope, subject to the above terms and conditions before 18.00 Hours on 10.08.2007.
